Joining a club and training with Youngstars
Since the 8yrs - 12yrs bracket is such a popular age group for athletics, a lot of local clubs are at capacity and currently have waiting lists to join and train with them as a group. Although some of the children may wish to compete for Fast Twitch Athletics Club (the new club the coach has created), it is also possibly to be on a waiting list for a separate club and still train with Youngstars.
When you train with Youngstars athletics you are able to also become members of local clubs and compete for them, while still using Youngstars as your training source. If your child is currently training with Youngstars and would like to become a member of-or compete for- a separate club then I have provided some contact information on MPT based clubs below.
Please remember that signing up this way will allow your child to be a member of that club but they won’t be able to automatically train with that club and may not necessarily be added to the clubs waiting list, if there is one.
Can’t find the session you’re looking for?
Coaches are assigned to groups of 10-15 athletes. When they are at full capacity for a specific class that class will become unavailable on the site until there is a demand for another coach to be present. When 10 or more participants request to join a class that is unavailable an additional coach will be deployed to fill the demand.

Rules for Youngstars Athletes
Children must listen to and respect the coach.
Children Must be over 8 years old.
Children must respect the rules of the track (i.e. no messing or running across lanes or disrupting other athletes).
Please make sure your child is appropriately dressed. (If wearing shorts and t-shirt please wear a tracksuit over the top and a coat).
Please make sure your child is at the track for prompt start and picked up on time.
It is advisable to send water with your child to training to keep him/her hydrated.
